ST. ANTHONY FOUNDATION OF CHARLOTTE is a 501c3 non-profit charitable corporation organized and operated to support other 501c3 non-profit organizations, who directly help people with disabilities and special needs in the Charlotte community. The Foundation has designed and developed a yearly fundraising event carrying on a Voci/Puopolo Family tradition: The St Anthony Feast in the Italian NorthEnd of Boston and called it  “FESTA ITALIANA Charlotte” in 2006, a first class Italian Food and Wine Festival, donating its proceeds to the Nevins Center helping to create opportunities for people with special needs and disabilities, so that they may live a dignified, fulfilling, and happy life. Una Bella Vita for everyone. Since 2006, the Foundation has donated over $300,000 to Nevins Center. With these Funds, Nevins has been able to buy Vans to transport their participants, new roofs, new HVAC, new teaching computer and software systems, and more. FESTA has grown from 40 Guests and Volunteers in 2006 at Dr. Voci’s Uptown Apartment Courtyard on Morehead Street to Queens University of Charlotte to Gateway Village Promenade Uptown with 600 Guests and Volunteers.
